
Maternity Information Sheet
Expecting an addition to your family is such an amazing milestone in your life. Once you book your session with us, we will set up a consultation to discuss all the details about your session. We do everything possible to prepare you for a wonderful and comfortable experience and to reflect your style in your session. Here are a few things to know about your session.
Booking your session:
The best time to schedule and reserve your maternity photoshoot is at the beginning of your third trimester when your belly bump is nice and full. You should book as soon as you know you want a photoshoot to ensure you get the timeframe that you want. Deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your spot.
What to wear:
Our studio is stocked with a variety of maternity gowns in many sizes that is provided for the mom-to-be during the photoshoot. Please wear comfortable clothing to make it easy to change in an out of gowns.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Please avoid busy prints and patterns.
Bring nude/white/black undergarments
Bras should be strapless
Makeup for touchup
If we are providing hair and makeup for you, please arrive at the studio with hair dried, and moisturizer only on face.
If you’re doing semi-nude/implied nude photos, bras and underwear will create noticeable lines on your skin, so wear loose-fitting clothing to the shoot. You can add undergarments as necessary for photos later in the shoot.
Who is included in the session:

Dad to be/partner is included in our packages and encouraged to be involved in the session. Maternity sessions can be a beautiful bonding experience for the both of you. They should bring outfits that coordinate with what you’ll be wearing, The focus should always be on you, your expressions, your emotions, your personality, your joy and connection.

Big sisters & brothers may be added to the session but keep in mind that the session can take a bit longer as we work with each child and pose to get the perfect shot of your entire family.
Here are a few more tips and information to know about the session:

Moisturize that belly! A couple days before the shoot moisturize day and night.

If you have something memorable that you would like included in your photoshoot, please let us know during your consultation and we would be happy to incorporate it.

Pamper yourself! Have your hair, makeup, and nails done before the shoot. Professional hair & makeup services are available upon request at no charge.

Refreshments and snacks are available in the studio and outdoor but feel free to bring your own refreshments of choice.
